Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for the position of Athletic Department Coordinator, to begin immediately. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Director of Athletics.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the coordination of department events
  • Manage and coordinate online ticket packages and tailgating registrations
  • Coordinate and manage campus van fleet
  • Coordinate annual department reporting and evaluation (College Assessment tool)
  • Assist with the processing of purchase orders, invoices, and monthly credit card statements as needed
  • Assist with financial reports as needed
  • Complete game contracts for all home contests
  • Update Student-Athlete Handbook and Athletic Department Manual annually
  • Create and update master Athletics calendar
  • Organize and coordinate various department meetings and take minutes
  • Coordinate and maintain office equipment and supplies
  • Assist with and maintain Athletic department files


  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience in a busy office with meeting coordination, correspondence, and general office management.
  • Quick learner who is able to focus and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
