Annual Salary 

$138,899.04 up to $168,832.80 DOQ 

The City of Patterson is seeking a highly qualified Deputy Director for the Engineering  department to plan, organize, direct, supervise, and coordinate departmental functions  and engineering activities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: overseeing  the planning, budgeting, design, construction, and maintenance of the Capital  Improvement Program; manage the Engineering division activities, provide infrastructure  master planning analysts and project planning support; perform other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications: Education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree with major  coursework in civil engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree in engineering, public  or business administration is highly desirable, and seven years of responsible civil  engineering experience, with at least three years in a supervisory role in capital  improvement, project management, and construction administration.
