Full-Time Environmental Compliance Specialist 

City of Patterson, CA 

$6,243.41 - $7,588.90 Monthly 

The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill a Full-Time Environmental  Compliance Specialist position. Under general supervision, assists the department with the  development and implementation of new or revised environmental programs (such as industrial  waste pre-treatment, Fats Oils and Grease (FOG), storm water, water conservation and/or  recycling), procedures, regulations, and guidelines related to environmental enforcement,  compliance, inspections, budgeting, and reporting; coordinates assigned activities with other  divisions, outside agencies and the general public; and provides staff assistance. 

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  College coursework desirable. Experience: One (1) year of responsible experience in public works  related projects, environmental compliance, customer relations, communications, or managing  projects. Licenses: Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License or the ability to obtain.
