Management Analyst

Management Analyst – Solid Waste City of Patterson Salary: $80,337.72 up to $97,651.08 Annually DOQ 

The Public Works Director is looking for a highly qualified Management Analyst to perform a wide variety of professional, administrative, analytical and management support activities within the solid waste program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to developing, implementing and administering the solid waste program; budget preparation, financial management, grant coordination; conducting administrative and technical research; preparing and presenting comprehensive complex technical and analytical reports with analysis and recommendations; performs other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess related experience in solid waste management, including outreach and education, and recycling programs; be familiar with state laws and regulations such as SB 1383, AB 341, AB 1826; must have strong customer service skills; have excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers; have the ability to manage contracts, grants, loans, and develop and administer a budget; have the ability to work in a fast-paced role and provide support to the Public Works department and a growing community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Equivalent to a BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business or Public Administration, Accounting, or related field.

Experience: Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative, analytical, and technical experience in a public agency.

License or Certificate: Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License at the time of appointment.
