Duties include teaching, curriculum development, scheduling, laboratory and equipment maintenance, ordering of supplies and equipment, student advising, counseling and placement and other related duties. Classes may be taught during the day as well as evenings. Classes start August, 2018 Western Colorado Community College, WCCC, is a division of Colorado Mesa University.
Employment Type: Adjunct Faculty, schedule varies based on course needs. Classes may be taught during the day as well as evenings and Saturdays.
Salary: Adjunct faculty are paid on a per credit hour basis, commensurate with highest degree held.

Education and/or Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Gerontology or related field with an emphasis on aging
- At least 2 years’ occupational experience in gerontology or related field
- Career and Technical Education credential required within six months of employment
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Gerontology
- Experience in education or clinical instruction
