Human Resources Analyst I/II/Sr. (Employee & Labor Relations)
This exciting opportunity is for the Human Resources Analyst who wishes to deliver consultation, facilitation and resolution strategies for workplace issues raised by employees, managers or collective bargaining members. In the role, you will assist and support administrative investigations, employee discipline, collective bargaining agreement negotiations and administration, grievances and other complaint processes, legal compliance, policy development and implementation, and non-industrial leaves of absence and disability management.

The incumbent must be able to partner with departments and other key stakeholders of the County to help support their needs. It is expected that you will be a responsive professional with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to be calm and collected in confidential, high-pressure situations is critical to being successful in this position. THE DEPARTMENT
The County of Tuolumne Human Resources & Risk Management Department provides services to all County departments to assist employees at all levels of the County’s organization and Board of Supervisors to advance the County’s goals. The department is responsible for employee relations, labor relations, collective bargaining, employee leaves management, benefits administration, classification and compensation, recruitment and retention, workforce planning, development, and training, risk management and employee safety programs, and liability insurance administration. The department operates with a staff of six dedicated public servants who are strategic partners and pride themselves on finding creative solutions for our County departments.
THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Human Resources Analyst I/II/Sr.: Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in human resources management, business, public administration, or a related field; or equivalent to graduation from a two–year college and certification as a human resources professional through the completion of an approved formal training program such as those developed by the International Public Management Association for Human Resources or California Public Employers Labor Relations Association.
Human Resources Analyst II: Two (2) years of professional experience personnel and/or human resources, preferably in the public sector, or one (1) year of experience equivalent to Human Resources Analyst I at Tuolumne County.
Senior Human Resources Analyst: Three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources generalist experience, preferably in the public sector, or two (2) years as a Human Resources Analyst II in Tuolumne County.

The County of Tuolumne offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
- Human Resources Analyst I (non-exempt): $27.0551 - $33.0287 /hr.
- Human Resources Analyst II (non-exempt): $29.8931 - $33.0287 /hr.
- Senior Human Resources Analyst (exempt): $74,778 - $91,289 /yr.
The Human Resources Analyst series is part of the Executive/Confidential compensation plan. Employees under this plan are afforded the following benefits:
