Pediatric Dentist Tribal Health Department
The successful applicant must possess a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited United States dental school. Extensive, advance professional knowledge with an Advance Degree from an ADA Accredited United States pediatric program and a high order of diagnostic dental skills. Thorough understanding of the relationships and applications of the basic sciences underlying dentistry to the dental health problems associated with Pediatric Dentistry. The high degree of skills in handling patients with special behavioral problems and in dealing with patient-management problems. Ordinarily, several comprehensive experiences and Training in Pediatric Dentistry is required. Must have a state license in dentistry. Knowledge of anesthetics and pharmaceuticals. Knowledge of all phases of routine and complex dental services. Skill in handling patients with behavioral problems. Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and random drug screens while employed. Must pass a background check. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, copy of the academic transcript and/or training certificate, a copy of current valid driver's license, completed supplemental background questionnaire, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veteran's preference, a copy of DD214 must be submitted. This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test. Salary range is negotiable, plus benefits.
