Program Coordinator - College of Nursing and Health Science – 534396

Job Summary:

Coordinates and assists with the operational activities and procedures of the Nurse Anesthesiology Department and clinical education. Administers the non-instructional aspects of the Department's execution, operations, and delivery to foster the highest standards of quality and customer service for the Nurse Anesthesiology Department. This position will report to the Chair of the Nurse Anesthesiology Department.

  • Coordinates and administers the operational activities of the Clinical Education program. Supports the day-to-day management of the Nurse Anesthesiology Clinical Education program. Monitors American Databank daily to ensure students remain compliant for clinical placement.
  • Monitors appropriate completion of paperwork requested by clinical sites for the Nurse Anesthesiology students.
  • Coordinates and creates rotations in Complio with students attending facilities that utilize the system. Update Typhon information systems and the clinical site information on a semester basis.
  • Administers compliance instructions to students. Coordinates and follows up with students regarding any issues they may have with compliance requirements and troubleshoots their inquiries.
  • Manages and administers the program's daily operations to accomplish the Department's annual and strategic goals.
  • Coordinates the applicant recruitment and application systems in collaboration with NWCNHS enrollment services staff and the Department Chair. Serves as the frontline point of contact for prospective applicants and students in the program.
  • Assist the Department Chair in managing and maintaining compliance with the Council on Accreditation program standards, submission or required accreditation and certification related documentation. Manages the student files and records in accordance with Program Accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinates all travel arrangements and prepares Travel Authorizations (TAs) and travel reimbursements for the Chair, Assistant Chair, faculty, staff and students.
  • Coordinates the verification of documents for program graduates when they apply for professional licensure or staff appointments and professional placement.
  • Prepares requisitions and invoices for operational purchases; purchasing office supplies for the office and the simulation labs.
  • Assists the department with events, orientations, applicant interviews and graduation in coordinating logistics and payments.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.

Desired Qualifications: Typhon Student Tracking System experience.

Salary: $40,000-$45,000
