The College of Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. The position will be responsible for providing direct evaluation of adult patients at the FIU Health Ambulatory Care Center practice site, manage the psychopharmacologic needs and psychotherapy for those patients as appropriate, adhering to evidence-based treatment guidelines.

The selected candidate will serve as the Director of Behavioral Health for Green Family Foundation NeighborhoodHELP, overseeing and managing behavioral health clinical services and collaborating with the Behavioral Health team. Will be responsible for providing psychiatric and behavioral health services to complex NeighborhoodHELP patients and providing annual reporting of behavioral health outcomes data and relevant policies and procedures. This position will also participate in the didactic teaching for medical students, physician assistant students, residents and/or practicing professionals.

Minimum qualifications include a terminal degree such as MD or DO and an unrestricted license to practice in the State of Florida. Training in an allopathic psychiatry residency and board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) (or obtaining board certification within one (1) year of employment) are required for physicians in this role.
