Service Technician - HVAC/Refrigeration

We are actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician who has a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field. This role is located in the heart of the Central Valley, and it does not require any travel to the Bay Area, allowing for a stable work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems as well as commercial refrigeration units, which includes but is not limited to walk-in freezers, refrigerated display cases, ice machines, and food prep tables.
• Skilled at diagnosing HVAC and refrigeration equipment malfunctions, verifying issues at the component level to ensure effective repairs are executed promptly and accurately.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance services aimed at prolonging the functionality and lifespan of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Prepare for daily work by gathering necessary tools and parts in advance to streamline the service process.
• Generate detailed administrative documents and reports, including timesheets and work orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years experience with HVAC systems in commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
• Must hold a valid EPA certification.
• A current state driver’s license and a clean driving history are mandatory.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and work safely at heights on ladders.
• Must follow all safety guidelines consistently while on job sites.
• Possesses a positive outlook towards work, a willingness to learn, and demonstrates strong work ethics and dependability. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are critical.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, sometimes at short notice.
• Self-starter capable of working independently to complete tasks on time without needing constant supervision.
