Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Fair Practices Investigation Coordinator in the Office of Institutional Equity.
Primary Job Duties: Plan, organize, and coordinate the delivery of fair practices programs and initiatives across campus to conceptualize, define, cultivate and assess fair practices, equity and inclusion. The position provides support to the fair practices office, including but not limited to conducting investigations (EEO, employment discrimination, Civil Rights, Title IX); serves as a point-of-contact for students, faculty and staff across campus dealing with issues of fair practices; supports the office staff and others to implement the fair practices goals of the strategic plan; and provide training to encourage faculty, staff and students to comply with legal and policy anti-discrimination requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution or a related field or One (1) to three (3) years of related experience and a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution or a related field.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Employment/EEO, Law Enforcement or Civil Rights investigation experience preferred.
This is a full-time contractual position with benefits. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
