Upstate Medical University is looking for a psychologist to join their dynamic team of expert professionals.

The Psychologist will provide individual and group therapy to adult patients in the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic. Patients are diverse and often a high risk out-patient population. Part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, psychologists and trainees. This position will be part of the dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) team conducting patient groups.

 Job#74918 Ph.D. or Psy.D. and NYS license (or eligible) Psychologist required but must receive license within 1 year of employment. Excellent clinical, consultative and written/oral communication skills required. Dialectical Behavior Therapy trained clinician preferred but will train at the organization's expense. Mental health experience working with adult patients strongly preferred. Experience working in Ambulatory setting preferred.
