Associate Director of Development and Executive Director Assistant
The Associate Director of Development and Executive Director Assistant reports to the Executive Director and provides leadership, strategic direction, management and coordination of all public relations and marketing for all programs and services of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) Association of Berkshire County, Inc. as well as administrative support to the executive director.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations
- Minimum of five years of experience in development, including writing grants and writing and managing direct mail fundraising campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher or other design software), donor management and web content management software
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, problem-solve and multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with a variety of constituents, including donors, community leaders and media outlets
· Proficient in computer skills, MS Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
· Must possess excellent typing and data entry skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must be self-motivated, positive and energetic
· Ability to prioritize and follow-through on multiple tasks/projects
· Valid driver’s license and availability of a private vehicle
